DEPARTMENTS

The Town of Bernalillo maintains governance through autonomous departments, each with its own unique area of operations and responsibilities. Departments are comprised of a Director who oversees all areass of a departments operation. typically dependent on the size of the department. With the exception of the Town Administrator, Town Clerk, Town Treasurer, Fire Chief and Chief of Police who are appointed by the Mayor, all other employees are hired through standard assessment and interview processes.
