My name is Judge Sharon Torres-Garcia and I am responsible for all administrative matters. I am under the supervision of the State Supreme Court. The Court is budgeted through the Town Administration and is overseen by the governing body - City Council. As the third branch of government, the Court takes full responsibility for policies and procedures, independent of the town.
I began my first term in March of 2008 and the term will expire in March of 2012. I am the first elected female Judge for the Town of Bernalillo. Previous to being elected into office I was appointed as the Alternate Judge for four years.
I will dedicate myself in helping our community.
I will make sure that everyone gets a fair trial.
If you are not happy with the outcome of my ruling you have the Right to Appeal it to District Court within 15 days.
Visitors always welcomed! Take care and stay safe!
